The Shallow End
Director Eddie Kisfaludy
Comedy
6:50
Tiffany’s chill pool day explodes when her wasted neighbors crash the deck with Solo cups and chaos. What starts as tequila fueled torment turns into a viral showdown of class, ego, and unexpected connection. With biting humor and sun burnt absurdity, The Shallow End dives into the messy, hilarious ways strangers collide and why it’s sometimes more fun to swim with the troublemakers.

Please
Director Daniele Frontoni
Music Video
Italy
4:20
Please is a haunting, cinematic track that tells the story of choosing to stay—right at the edge, when everything feels lost.
Inspired by the idea of a suicide that never happened, it explores the fragile space between darkness and rebirth, and the power of second chances.
With suspended, intimate, and sensual sounds, Please is also a tribute to David Lynch, honoring his way of unveiling the human soul through the aesthetics of silence and mystery.
A sonic journey through nostalgia, longing, and hope.

Belly Button - Chapter 2 Mezcal
Director Dan Goldberg
Documentary
United States
6:06
In the heart of Oaxaca, mezcal is more than a spirit - it's a bridge between generations, a keeper of indigenous wisdom, and a testament to cultural resilience. This documentary follows the sacred journey of mezcal production, where ancient techniques passed down through families reveal how culinary traditions preserve indigenous identity in modern Mexico. Through the eyes of master mezcaleros, we witness how each batch of mezcal carries forward not just flavors, but stories, rituals, and a way of life that refuses to be forgotten. As global interest in mezcal soars, these guardians of tradition demonstrate how food and drink can become powerful tools for cultural preservation, proving that in Oaxaca's indigenous communities, every sip is a return to origins - a taste of home.

Discovering Bessie Coleman
Director Beth Powell
Documentary
United States
26:01
Discovering Bessie Coleman is an inspiring documentary that celebrates the impact of Bessie Coleman’s legacy through the eyes of those she continues to inspire. Rather than a biographical account, the film shares personal stories from Coleman’s family, aviation professionals, and celebrities like author and actress Karyn Parsons, recounting how they first learned about Coleman’s groundbreaking achievements as the first African-American and Native American woman to earn an international pilot’s license. Despite her accomplishments, Coleman’s story remains unfamiliar to many. This documentary highlights the transformative power of her journey, showcasing how her determination to overcome barriers continues to motivate and empower new generations in aviation and beyond.

Each stage of her life reveals the quiet strength of a survivor learning to find her voice — through heartbreak, single motherhood, and divine encounters that reshape her sense of purpose.
When tragedy strikes and she loses the father of her unborn child, Beulah is forced to rebuild from the ashes of pain. Guided by faith, therapy, and her daughters’ love, she begins to heal and rediscover herself. A divine prompting leads her to the Gulf Coast, where new light breaks through.

At The Flash tells the story of a fictitious gay bar over six different decades from the 1960's to current day. We begin in 1965 with Richard, a husband and father, struggling with his true identity and reaching a critical personal crossroads. The new gay freedoms of the 1970’s are represented in Miss Sparkle, an aging Drag Queen, who shares her wisdom with her newest protégé. With the 1980’s bringing the fear of AIDS to gay men young and old, Derrick Winston humorously faces a questionable diagnosis adding to the already complicated task of finding a lover. Fighting the uphill battle of the Gay Rights Movements of the 1990’s, bubbly lesbian Mona Epstein takes on activism to advance her personal, political and social agenda. Doris, an unofficial den mother, challenges the unreasonable "requests" of a local religious figure during the mid-2000's. Present day owner of The Flash, Rod Mahoney, struggles to make his grand re-opening deadline while pinpointing his motivation to do so.

The Screenwriter Dies A Thousand Deaths
Writer JIm Shankman
Feature Screenplay
OPEN PDF
Willy Shotz is a brilliant screenwriter. Producers kill for his stylish violence and comic sci fi. He looks to be a true Hollywood eccentric, smoking a joint before walking into the office of Gabe Weiner to pitch him one last time. But this is not recreational drug use. Willy is dealing with symptoms of late stage cancer, including fainting spells, chemo brain and a heart full of woe. Gabe for his part is a steely charmer who dismisses his own flagrant insincerity as merely an occupational hazard. As Willy begins to pitch his screenplay, Gabe fights back with every word in his impressive arsenal including “intellectual arthouse comedy.” As they battle back and forth, Willy’s illness threatens to get the better of his short-term memory, his emotions, his ability to stay upright and cogent; in other words his dignity. As passions rise to a heated pitch Willy walks out and takes his script with him.

Deception
Writer David Alan Bentley
Stage Play
Deception is a chilling one-act psychological drama that blurs the lines between reality and performance. Nasha, a defiant patient locked in therapy sessions with the enigmatic Aniloyoda, believes she is a character trapped inside a play—her every move dictated, her pain exploited by an unseen audience. As their sessions unravel, layers of illusion and control peel back, culminating in a jaw-dropping reveal: Aniloyoda is not just her therapist but the very creator of Nasha’s scripted torment. In a brutal act of rebellion, Nasha seizes the narrative and shatters the fourth wall, literally and figuratively. Leaving audiences questioning authorship, autonomy, and the true cost of voyeurism.
