Daniel is a young prisoner who is about to be released from jail. With the hope of reintegrating into society, he enters a rehabilitation program where he adopts an abandoned dog named "Pitahaya". Through this bond, Daniel and Pitahaya rescue each other from abandonment and social stigma. This process gives Daniel the opportunity to reflect on his past, understand who he is, what led him to jail, and discover what he expects from the future. This short film invites us to reflect on the importance of giving second chances through empathy.

At Grandpa's funeral, the granddaughter is overwhelmed by her memories of the old days with Grandpa. From the granddaughter's viewpoint, a glimpse is taken into the past when a young man goes to Taipei struggling for a living under the changes in the early era in Taiwan as well as the sacrifice he made for the family as the eldest son and his true wishes for life.

A father and mother are faced with the painful task of washing and shrouding their deceased transgender daughter. Shrouding is an Islamic religious practice that is deemed obligatory to carry out upon death. But when no one agrees to wash her and shame falls onto the family, how far is the father willing to go to make sure his "son" is washed?
